Cleaning Out My Closet
Most people simply don't enjoy cleaning their closets. While most people try to keep their closets clean, sometimes it's just too much and it's like it's getting a life of its own. After awhile, all too often my closets end up messy again and they're filled with stuff I don't even remember. Now, I don't like cleaning out my closet, but each time I see it in this state, I make it my task to clean it. How do I do that?
I always clean my closet in a systematic way. Each time I clean a room I do it this way, as it's so much easier. First, I start from the door and continue cleaning, walking to the left of the room, while cleaning any of the dirty areas. When I get back to the door, everything behind me is clean, so no leaving things to pick up later. I always use this same method when it comes to cleaning out my closet.
When I first enter the closet, I begin by cleaning from the centre. Usually this will be easy to clean and with less stuff to move around. But, if too much time has passed between cleanings, I'll usually go a different route when cleaning out my closet. In this instance, I'll start from the door and use the same tactics as with a room, going around and heading towards left.
Another thing I always do is to put a limit on the time I want to spend de-cluttering my closet. What I hate most is ending up with a lot of junk from my closet spread out through the bedroom. That's why when I am cleaning out my closet, I only take things out if I want to throw them away or put them away.
